Kyungwon Refrigerated Air Dryer (Kyungwon Refrigerated Air Dryer)
Maintains the best pressure drop
Internal pressure drop is the difference between the pressure of the compressed air at the dryer's intake and exhaust pipes. The lower the internal pressure drop of the refrigerated dryer, the lower the pressure you need to reach with the air compressor. And the compressor consumes less energy.
Our refrigerant dryers are designed to minimize pressure drop, thereby minimizing energy consumption.
Operating principle of cold air dryer
Refrigerant dryers are the most commonly used dryers in the industry and include a heat exchanger between air and gas and a heat exchanger between gas and refrigerant. Heat exchangers remove moisture from compressed air by condensing the water inside, necessary to protect the compressed air system and any equipment supplied with compressed air from the harmful effects of moisture. The most important criterion is to keep the relative humidity of the compressed air below 50%. There are both air-cooled and water-cooled refrigerant dryers. Essentially, the dryer lowers the temperature of the warm wet air from the compressor. As the temperature of the compressed air decreases, moisture condenses and is discharged from the compressed air with the help of a high-performance water separator. The compressed air is then reheated to room temperature so that condensation does not form on the outside of the piping system. Heat exchange between the inlet and outlet compressed air also reduces the temperature of the incoming compressed air, thereby reducing the required cooling capacity of the refrigerant circuit.
